Over the past decade, Coastal Marine Equipment has built a strong reputation in providing superior design, construction, service and support for a wide variety of deck machinery in the marine industry.

Bringing with them an excess of 100 years combined experience in the marine deck machinery and machine shop fields, the management group formed Coastal Marine Equipment (CME). This experience proved to be a winning combination. The “Built to Last” deck machinery, with reasonable prices and incessant service and support was just what the marine industry needed. This is reflected in the ongoing repeat business from CME’s broad customer base including many operators, shipyards and government agencies. After 11 years, CME is the leader in the manufacturing of deck machinery for OPA 90 barges, OSVs, PSVs and government vessels all delivered throughout the world successfully operating in some of the harshest environments. CME offers a complete line of marine deck equipment including anchor windlasses, capstans, towing winches, mooring winches, anchor winches, reels, hose reels, spud winches, escort winches, ramp winches, stern rollers, tow pins and rescue boat davits.

CME’s 30,000 square feet manufacturing facility and 5,000 square feet office is located on eleven acres in Gulfport, Mississippi, in the center of the Gulf of Mexico and boat building region. Each step in the manufacturing of CME’s equipment is performed in-house including engineering, purchasing, quality control, safety, welding, CNC and manual machining, surface preparation, assembly and testing.
