Venezuelan 4-Point Mooring Package

Coastal Marine Equipment recently delivered four (4) Coastal model 2M160-200D7-1257-130 Double Drum Mooring Winches for use on barges being constructed for a Venezuelan company. Each drum sized for 3,000’ of 2” diameter wire rope. The spring set, air released band brakes are rated @ 275,200 lbs holding on the first layer.  Driven by a 125 HP IP56, explosion proof electric brake motor the unit developes 90,000 lbs line pull @ 32 FPM on the first layer. Each drum is fitted with a diamond screw levelwind with speed, tension, scope indicator with digital readout.
